made for small domestic spaces, barcelona-based design studio company & company have sent us images of ‘corner ladder’.
the redeveloped useful tool is made to fold not only flat, but also compresses horizontally into a single pole.
the hinges and dowels make it easy to open and close while the wooden device maintains its structural stability.
to make space for the folded rungs, the rails have indented space, allowing for the frame to unite into a single bar.

吉岡徳仁によるグラスイタリアのLuminus | DA
日本のデザイナー吉岡徳仁は、ミラノで開催されるミラノサローネ国際家具見本市で、ほとんど目に見えないテーブルを発表した。
Luminusと名付けられたその無垢のガラスのテーブルは、イタリアのブランドであるグラスイタリアのためにデザインされた。
吉岡は透明でほとんどそこにないかのようなデザインを得意とする

IKEA、世界で最も安い厚紙製のカメラ「KNAPPA」を発売へ - インターネットコム
北欧のインテリアを販売する IKEA は、近日中に世界で最も安い厚紙製のカメラ「KNAPPA」を販売開始する。発売日や販売価格などは未定。
「KNAPPA」は、「「IKEA PS」とあなたをつなぐ」をコンセプトに、ストックホルムで活動する Teenage Engineering と共同で開発されたカメラ。IKEA の PS コレクションに囲まれた部屋に置いても違和感の無いシンプルなデザインとなっている。
他の IKEA 商品と同様、「KNAPPA」も自分で組み立てる必要がある。だが、付属の取扱説明書の指示に従えば、組み立てに失敗する人はまずいないだろう。
取扱説明書にもあるが、撮影後に写真をメモリーに記録するには約8秒かかるということなので、「KNAPPA」は連写が必要な場面には不向きかもしれない。
カメラ本体は、厚紙、基盤、USB 端子で構成されている。動作には、単4乾電池2本をを使用。液晶画面などは搭載されていない。

raw edges: deskbox for arco
‘deskbox’ is a small wall-mounted desk / cabinet unit which has been designed for interior settings where this limited space available for furniture.
conceived by israel-born UK-based designers yael mer and shay akalay of raw edges studio for dutch furniture company arco,
the unit is ideal for working on one’s laptop. it can be extended outwards to reveal a larger work / writing surface, and easily retracted to form a closed,
compact box which ends up half the size of the table top when not in full use.
in 2011, raw edges participated in a workshop with arco whereby the company challenged ten designers to develop new ideas based on the
production possibilities of the furniture manufacturer. the first outcome of the collaborative project was ‘breadbox’.
‘deskbox’ can be seen as a continued exploration of this form which is based on the parallel mechanism seen in the sewing boxes
which arco used to produce.

Bronze Collection Of Animals Tables Emerging Out Of Glass Surfaces | Freshome
Mark Stoddart’s Animal Coffee and Dining Tables are a quite interesting alternative to a simple table design. A transparent glass table top is pierced by the body of an animal, making it look like the “beast” is emerging out of the water. There are different versions available, like Hippo “The Lad” Coffee Table, Hippo Mother and Baby Coffee Table, the Bronze Rhino Table, the table depicting an elephant or the one adorning the glass table top with a dog. They all look like coming out of the water, except for the rhino, who apparently feel better under water. The one representing the mother and baby hippo raising their heads above the waterline captures an infinite love between the new born and the one who gave it life. In each table sculpture, the designer bolted the animal to the glass surface, securing it with handmade PTF grommets. Mark also produces bespoke pieces and even your beloved animal can be replicated in bronze to be displayed in your home.

そうなると気になるのは音質ですけど、レギュラーのイヤホンと同じぐらいみたいですよ。
